This term we read the Book of Exodus—the dramatic account of the Hebrews being rescued from Egypt and their entry to the Promised Land.

It is the ideal book to read for Lent.

This week we will read from the Book of Exodus chapters 13—-15.

All Welcome.

Mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The Angelus commemorates the most important event in the history of the universe: The Incarnation. Recited daily at 6 a.m, 12 noon and 6 p.m.
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary; and she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary. Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy Word. Hail Mary. And the Word was made flesh; and dwelt among us . Hail Mary. Pray for us , O Holy Mother of God; that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts , that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ your son, was made known by the message of an angel, may, by his passion and cross, be brought to the glory of his resurrection. Through Christ our Lord . Amen.

Please pray for our sick and housebound : Sheila Culliven, Yvonne Campbell, Elizabeth Manser, Jean Grant

For those whose anniversaries occur around this time : Stan Dudek

Next Sunday ( July 24 ) Fr. Louis from Dunblane will say the morning Mass here at 10 a.m.
