This term we read the Book of Exodus—the dramatic account of the Hebrews being rescued from Egypt and their entry to the Promised Land.
It is the ideal book to read for Lent.
This week we will read from the Book of Exodus chapters 13—-15.
All Welcome.

Notes to Parishioners
Obligation of Sunday Mass
The Bishops of Scotland, with the lifting of restrictions, have decided to restore the obligation of Sunday Mass.
The obligation does not apply to the sick and their carers, and people who are vulnerable to contracting the virus. The obligation will be restored on the first Sunday of Lent, March 6, 2022
Church Synod
Today, as promised, a questionnaire will be distributed on the Synod called by Pope Francis. He invites everyone to participate.
To start us off, this morning the questionnaire will be given to each parishioner to be filled in. There are plenty of copies for people who are not here today, and for people who have stopped coming to Mass. You are asked to give a copy of the questionnaire to anyone who may be interested.
Please pray that the Lord will bless this project and bring all of us closer to Him and to each other.
Lenten Devotions: We will have Stations of Cross after morning Mass on Wednesdays.
We also hope to have a holy hour each week during Lent —either on Sunday afternoons at 5 pm or on Thursdays at 6.30 pm. Sunday is the Day of the Lord — the most appropriate day for devotions. Please let us know if you have any views on which day you prefer. Thank you.
Remember in your prayers all those who are sick, especially Bishop Stephen’s mother; and pray for the repose of the souls of Neil Welsh and Maureen Robertson, who died recently.
