Queen of Heaven

Recited during Paschal–tide instead of the Angelus.

O Queen of heaven. Rejoice! Alleluia.

For he whom you did merit to bear. Alleluia.

Has risen as he said. Alleluia. Pray for us to God. Alleluia.

Rejoice and be glad. O Virgin Mary. Alleluia.

For the Lord has risen indeed. Alleluia.

Parish Notices — Sunday, September 4, 2022

Saturday : Vigil Mass 5 p.m. Confessions beforehand. Sunday Morning : Mass at 10 a.m.
Wednesday : Mass at 10 a.m.

Scripture Corner.: Meet on Thursday at 7 pm—either in Church or in your home. Alone or with family/friends. Our aim is to read three or four chapters each week and have all of Genesis read by Christmas. This coming week we will read chapters 16,17, 18 and 19 of the Book of Genesis. Maybe a chapter or two a day—in that way we would cover the passage quite a few times. Don’t forget to share your insights on the week’s passage. That is what the Synod is all about. Reading Sacred Scripture is a prayer—recollect yourself , pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance, and at the end, thank the Lord for his Word.

Carfin : Sunday, September 25 Mass at 3 pm. Rosary Procession afterwards
A bus will leave Auchterarder car park at 12.45 pm. and return after the Mass. Put your name on the list if you wish to come.
Please remember we can only take a limited number on the bus. We will not stay for the Procession.

Remember our sick and elderly : Yvonne Campbell; Bill Beggs; Mgr. Ken McCaffrey ; Catherine Lynch; Sheila Cullivan; Gemma Nicol ; Tommy Leavy.
Those recently deceased, those whose anniversaries occur around this time, former parishioners and priests of Our Lady’s.
