Celebration of Christmas : Though mooted again this year because of the pandemic, we have to thank everyone who helped in our celebration of the Lord’s birth : the church cleaners and decorators —the church was looking beautiful and glowing for Christmas, as usual; the people who put up the crib and Christmas tree ; Tony for the striking decorations in the grounds of the Church; Sheila and Alan for the music, and the readers; the stewards who make all our celebrations possible these days; and all who came, without whom we would not have a celebration.
Though necessarily quieter this year than in the past, we can only hope that God the Father was pleased with our efforts to celebrate the birthday of His Beloved Son. If that is the case, then that is all that matters.
Change of Mass times on Sundays
From this Sunday onwards, January 2, 2022, until further notice, the Sunday Mass will start at 10 a.m.
We will continue to celebrate Mass on Wednesdays at 10 a.m
Please inform anyone, who may not be aware of it, of this change. Thank you.
A Church Reminder for 2022
Please remember to take all the usual precautions : Mask; Social Distance; Sanitise hands. Thank You
On a personal note, I have to thank all those who sent me cards and gifts for Christmas.
Please accept this acknowledgment of your generosity and love, as the sheer quantity of cards and gifts is overwhelming.
Happy New Year
We wish all parishioners and friends of Our Lady’s every Grace and Blessing for 2022
May the Good Lord keep us all in His love.
