Notes to Parishioners
4th Sunday. January 30, 2022

As promised, from today, January 30. 2022, we will return to our traditional way of celebrating Holy Mass i.e., Gloria, Sermon, Creed, Bidding Prayers.
Holy Communion will be distributed at the traditional time during the Mass itself. Communicants are asked to keep a cautious distance in the procession.
Masks continue to be mandatory. As the virus is still around, and we have a very small church, we will continue to take names of worshippers until we hear from the Scottish Bishops.
Certain Funerals can be very crowded. We would ask that attendance at a funeral Mass be limited to people invited by the bereaved family. This limitation does not apply to the service at the graveside or crematorium. This request will last until further notice.
The celebration of the Wednesday Mass will resume from this Wednesday ( Feb 2 ) at 10 a.m. There will be no need to take names at the Wednesday Mass. Masks must still be worn.

Wednesday, February 2, is the Feast of the Presentation in the Temple, or Candlemas.
Traditionally, candles for use in the liturgy throughout the year are blessed at the beginning of this Mass.
Monday, February 1. Feast day of St Brigid, secondary patron of Ireland

Please remember to pray for Neil Welsh who died recently. The funeral Mass will be celebrated here on Thursday, Feb 3, and thereafter at Perth Crematorium at 12.30 p.m.
Also, remember Maureen Robertson who was buried last Wednesday.

Also, pray for Bishop Stephen’s mother who is very seriously ill.
