Notes to Parishioners

Today we extend a very warm welcome to Fr. Louis, the priest from the Holy Family in Dunblane
Mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Birthday Celebrations on the lawn. July 17. 2022
Many thanks to the Bishop, organisers, workers, donors, helpers upfront and behind the scenes, and all who came.
I am very touched by all the love and generosity shown to me.
For all that, I can only thank God for giving me ninety years, and the parishioners for their goodness and wonderful kindness.
Much appreciated.

The Angelus commemorates the most important event in the history of the universe: The Incarnation.
Recited daily at 6 a.m, 12 noon and 6 p.m.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary; and she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary. Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy Word. Hail Mary. And the Word was made flesh; and dwelt among us. Hail Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God; that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts , that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ your son, was made known by the message of an angel, may, by his passion and cross, be brought to the glory of his resurrection. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please pray for our sick and housebound : Sheila Culliven, Yvonne Campbell, Jean Grant ,Gemma Nichol, Tommy Leavy.
