Parish Notices September 18

i. Vigil Mass : Saturday 5 pm. Confessions beforehand. Sunday : Mass at 10 a.m.

ii.Her Majesty the Queen: R I P . We will have a Requiem Mass in thanksgiving for her life and for the repose of her soul on Wednesday, September 23, at 7 pm. No morning Mass on that day.
We also pray for the material and spiritual well-being of His Majesty King Charles 111.

iii. Scripture Corner. Thursday at 7 pm . We will read Genesis chs. 20, 21, 22 and 23. Parishioners are welcome to read these chapters in Church or at home , alone, or with family and friends. Share your insights with others, and listen to what others have to say. This is how a synodal Church acts. Reading four/five chapters each week, we hope to finish the Book of Genesis by Christmas. Genesis, the Book of Beginnings or the Book of the Patriarchs, sets the outline for the rest of the Bible and Salvation history

iv. Next Sunday we have the pilgrimage to Carfin in the presence of the relics of St Bernadette. The bus will leave the town centre car park at 12.45 pm Please note w will use the car park in the centre of the town.
