Ethiopia Appeal
The Bishops of Scotland are making an appeal for the people of Ethiopia who are threatened with famine. Donations will be made through SCIAF
A box is on the table in the porch for contributions.
Please remember our sick and suffering , including the people in hospital and the housebound.
Please remember those who have died recently; those whose anniversaries occur around now; former parishioners, priests and friends of Our Lady’s.
Tuesday n: Feast of St. James, the Greater.( ie. The elder of the two Apostles called James ).
St. James is the Patron of Spain—hence the famous pilgrimage to Compostella this week
Wednesday : St Joachim and St. Anne, parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Pope Francis has declared them the patrons of grand-parents
