Next Sunday (8th) we have a joint commitment with St Kessog’s to provide a short service for Ruthven Towers Care Home at 2.30pm. Parishioners would be welcome to attend and should arrive by 2.15pm if possible.
A date for the diary. On Saturday, 18th November a Coffee Morning and Sale will be held in the Aytoun Hall from 10am to noon to raise money for our Mary’s Meals Kibvunguti Kitchen Project in Malawi. In recent months casual donations have been somewhat frugal, so we need to raise some money to keep the project going.
Monsignor Basil continues to stay with his niece in Dundee, but has two Vascular Clinic appointments this week, tomorrow and on Friday. Hopefully, he will receive good news about his recovery. Prayers are needed for a good outcome.
Prayers are also needed for the success of the first Bishops Synod for a Synodal Church in Rome that starts on 4th October. We hope for an all inclusive Church.
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, pray for us. May we all have the grace always to call upon you.
