Parish Notices – 6th Sunday in OT

Saturday: Vigil Mass at 5pm.
Sunday: Morning Mass at 10am.
Confessions after both Masses.
Wednesday: Mass at 10am.
Friday: Funeral Mass at 10.15am.
Scripture Corner cancelled on Thursday (20th) owing to funeral.
Wee SCIAF Boxes. Now available. Their purpose is to encourage us to
make small acts of penance, e.g. and odd chocolate biscuit here, a pint
there, etc; and put the money saved into the wee box, thus helping the
poor and needy in the Third World. Boxes will be brought up at the
Offertory procession at the Holy Thursday Mass. Holy Thursday is the
day for the reconciliation of sinners before the Paschal celebration, a
feast like no other.
Please pray for our sick and housebound. Ann Brown; Clare Donovan; John
Culliven. Also, for those on our community who are presently distressed
or worried.
Recently deceased: Bill Begg; Paddy Stones; Patrick Irons; David
Flanagan; Tony Davis; people whose anniversaries occur around this time
and former parishioners and friends of Our Lady’s.
Funeral – Bill Begg. The coffin will be brought to the church on
Thursday, February 20, at 4pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 21st at 10.15am;
thereafter to Perth Crematorium for 12 noon.
