Saturday: Vigil Mass at 5pm; Sunday: Morning Mass at 10am. Confessions
heard after both Masses.
Sunday: Rosary and Prayers at 5pm.
Wednesday: Mass at 10am.
Meeting on Creation on Tuesday 3-4pm.
Scripture Corner: Thursday at 7pm. We will be reading Luke Chapters 9 &
10. Parishioners are invited to read these chapters at home or with
loved ones.
Wednesday: St Teresa of Avila. Carmelite nun. Died in 1582. One of the
great Spanish mystics.
Friday: St Ignatius of Antioch. Died 107. Martyr and one of the
earliest Church Fathers. Believed to have been devoured by lions in the
Colosseum, Rome.
Saturday: St Luke, Evangelist. Wrote the 3rd Gospel and the Acts of the
Apostles. The story of Jesus we have in our heads is mainly told to us
by St Luke.
Mission Sunday: October 19. Special prayers and collection.
We pray for the sick and housebound of the parish; and for all those
presently distressed or worried, including Learong Lu who is in
palliative care. For those who have died recently; anniversaries;
former parishioners and friends of Our Lady’s.
